MY LAST BIRTHDAY!!! (in the U.S.)

Today, March 31, is my last birthday in the U.S. I will be moving to India on May 17. In other words, my last day at Portal will be May 9. Yesterday, Sunday, I had my 10th birthday. I invited all my friends. My birthday took place in Westfield Valley Fair Mall. At the mall we were going to go on a scavenger hunt. My friends came to our house then we took them there. we chose teams. One team was called The Pink Butterflies (PB). The other team that I was in was The Wierd Banana Slugs (WBS). When we first got to the mall, we went to PICTURE PEOPLE, a photo studio. Since we had some time left, we tried to finish our first clue. I remember that PB went to the childrens place to find a cute spring outfit for me that was under $30. WBS went to Sanrio to find all the characters they were selling. After the picture, we tried to finish the other clues. At the end of the first round, the PB finished first. The final round was the hardest. The PB went to LIMITED TOO to find clothes that matched with the picture given. WBS went to the tricky one answering ?s about the APPLE products. At the end, we got to buy our own things at either SANRIO or CLAIRS. I got a Hello Kitty saying March 31 on it. After that, we ate ice cream. I had eaten Cotton Candy with Kool-Aid Munch Crunch. Whe I opened the gift cards from each of the teams, I found that I got $20 for SANRIO (yes!) and LIMITED TOO (boo-yah) each. When we got back home everyone got a present. Oh dear, I forgot to tell you something really important. Yesterday, when I woke up, my brother & dad suprised me with a Nintendo DS lite!!!! If it was your birthday, and you could make one wish, what would it be? Why would you chose that?

If it was my birthday and I got to make a wish I would wish that in school we would get a little less homework. I would wish that because some days I feel so stressed out either because I am not feeling to good or I have after school activities. This is what I would wish for if I had a wish.
If it was my birthday and I could make any wish I want, I would wish for a older sister. Almost everyday I get scolded for what my sister and I did wrong but she never gets in trouble unless she doesn't eat what my mom makes. I would like to have a older sister so I can finally watch someone else get in trouble instead of watching my little sister be a angel.
I know exactly how you feel Jamie. Think about having 2 younger sisters. You get blamed twice as much. One thing that can be really annoying with my youngest sister Jenny, is that whenever one of me or Kelly's friends come over, Jenny acts like a baby. It always turns out that the friends that come over pay all the attention to Jenny and never to us. It can get so annoying!(I think all little sisters are like that)
On my birthday, I would want to wish for world peace. Today, there's a lot of violence and war going on. For example, the Iraq war is going on for already five years! Innocent people die or get badly harmed almost everyday. I would want world peace so that everybody can live a happy life, but I doubt that's going to happen.
If it was my birthday, I would wish for another pet rabbit. You see, I already have a black-and-white rabbit named Sugar, and sometimes she gets bored easily, so I was wondering if I could get another rabbit to keep her company. If I could have another rabbit, I would choose a black Netherland dwarf rabbit, because black is my favorite color, and Netherland dwarfs have cute sweet faces with large eyes. Those are the favorite characteristics I like about Netherland dwarf rabbits.
If it was my birthday and I got a wish my wish would be having to be drafted by the San Jose Sharks hockey team and that would be awesome.But I still love what is going on in the world and to the Sharks Hockey team
Amulya your birthday was so much fun! I wish I was invited.Although the sad part is that you're leaving to India. Is it forever? Well I sure am going to miss you! For my birthday I would wish for a great millionare house near Miller Middle school because I really want to go there!
Dear Amulya, We are really going to miss you here at Portal -- and I am sure you will find many new friends at your new school in India. I hope that you will write us often. I bet you can even post in our blog from India! (Ask Ms. McPheeters if this could be possible.) That would be fantastic. We would love to hear about your new school and class, and what it is like there. Maybe your new class could be penpals with Ms. McPheeters' class. There are many ways to stay in touch. To answer your blog post question, if I got to make a birthday wish, I would wish for a big party with all my family there. We will really miss you! Now answering your question, I would want a nintendo DS lite too because each time I tell my mom that i will use my money she says" use it for something good." Don't you hate when your parents don't let you use your own money? It's not theirs. They can't control what belongs to you.
I would wish for sports cable because I like to watch my favorite team the Los Angeles Lakers kick butt. Also, I don't have any type of cable.
I would choose my own laptop because I share my computer at home with my sister. The computer at my house is slow. It takes 5 min. to load up and 3 min. to get to a web site. My dad's computer is fast but he always does work on it so I can't play on his computer. This is my thing I wish for. You had an awsome time at your party. Many peaple will miss you! I hope you have a safe trip going to India!
I know just how Carolyn AND Jamie feel. I have TWO BROTHERS!!! One older and one younger. So I'm the MIDDLE CHILD so my young keeps on following my older brother in calling me names and making fun of me. It's 20 TIMES HARDER on me. My birthday wish would be for Amulya to stay in Cupertino and not go to India. I'm gonna cry and cry and cry and keep on crying until i get over it (which would be like in decade.).
If it was my birthday, one wish i would wish for is that my sister would stop bugging me. She is older that me and likes to bully me. I wish she can have a taste of her own medicine.
When my birthday comes I will try to make it just as much fun as yours. If it was my birthday and I had one wish, I would wish for a little puppy. I would play with it, and take care of it with lots of love. I have MANY other wishes that I wish for, but this is one of my biggest wishes. I am really going to miss you when you go to India Amulya!!!!!
