I feel that the time has finally come for a change in this country and I believe very strongly that Barack Obama, our new President of the United States, will bring us this new freedom. I think African-Americans didn't have have as much rights as this until now. This history being made before our very own eyes. I think we, kids, are lucky to see this happen to our country at a young age and are glad that we can see history before us as we grow up. Watch it while you can!!!~Meryem *^_^*

It is an honour that an African American is going to be the president of the United States!!! He's been through a lot from battling John McCain in the fearsome election to smashing the racial barriers and taking the spot in the white house! But tommorow is his inauguration and this day will truly strike the souls of many people around the world and hold a place in history! All we can hope now is that he will be a good president! Watch the inauguration tommorow becuase this could be the only time an African American is taking a spot in the white house! Once in a life time oppertunity!!! (Good thing Mrs. Yu told us quizzed us on how to spell inauguration so that I don't have to go back dictionary.com...hahaha)

I feel that finally change has come and I think Barack Obama will be a great president because during the debates he really showed that he new what he was going to do to help the bad economy. Also I think that Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream has come true because a long time ago there could have been no chance an African American person could be a president but in the 21st we are living MLK's dream.

I think it is great that we got our new president. We really needed some change in our bad Economy and I strongly think Barack Obama will give us that change we need. It is also cool right after Martin Luther King Jr.`s birthday the first African American man became president. And his dream was always for every one to have equal rights.

I think it is amazing that the the people in the U.S.A owned people who where black and made them work hard. Now it is hard to believe that a African American is the president of this country. If only Martin Luther King Jr. could see this happen. " I have a dream."
Guess what? Your wish came true!!! I thought the inauguration was cool. The priest was funny and nice.
My family recorded the whole thing and a watch it over and over on the weekends.

CHANGE HAS COME!!!

It is great how change has come to America. America has been the same for the past few years. It is also cool to see an African-American president being inaguarated. Barack Obama's speech was also one of the best ones I know. His inaguaral adresses are: "We will face some very serious challenges. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this America, they will be met." and "Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, then start in remaking America" --Barack Obama.
