Lucas' Post

Greetings from Middle School
Hello Room 19, this is Lucas from Cupertino Middle School. Middle school isn't that great as Portal, but I think I can survive. It was pretty scary going to a new middle school. The middle school had a orientation for students, so I went. I felt better after that orientation because some eighth graders who orientation leaders told us that there was barely any homework for sixth grade. That was partly true because I got a hour of homework on the third day of school. That was less than what I thought it would be.
Besides middle school, I've had a great summer. I went to Hearst Castle and Seqouia Lake. The iPhone 3G was also launched in the summer. It only cost $299. By he way, I've fixed up a Apple computer that was broken that my friend wanted to throw it away. I offered to fix it and succeeded. The Mac is now mine.
All 5th graders currently, don't worry about middle school, it will be a pretty smooth transition with not much homework.

Hi Lucas! My sister is also in middle school. She goes to Hyde. Nice job on fixing your friend's computer. My dad put Linux on my computer. It is awesome because its really fast and has a lot of effects. Now I agree that Macs are really good. It's just that eMacs are not that good anymore. My dad used to work for Mac.

Yo lucas computer genius how is middle school?. Awesome job on fixing that computer. Now you have another computer. I still think that Microsoft Xp is the best operating system in history. Vista is Styly but it needs atleast one gb of ram to run. I have a question what kind of mac was the one that you fixed?

Dear Lucas,
I don't know you but my friends told me about you. The fourth graders don't know you but the fifth graders know you. My name is Anshul and you remind me about my friend named Andrew and he left school. He was also good with computers. I can't believe that you fixed a computer.

From,
Anshul

Hi Lucas! I am also gonna be going to Cupertino Middle School and this is the last year of CUP (coop)(Cupertino Middle). I think you remember him from the baseball team. Well, with the homework of course! My brother spends and gets less HW than me. By the way $299 is ALOT not "only"! Well, anyways you are so lucky that you got a free computer whether or not it is a mac or a window. Well, good luck, all the best with middle school and bye!

Hi Lucas! When I read that you fixed the computer I was amazed. I went to an apple store last weekened and I played with a Macbook. It was so fast I couldn't belive it. Also if you go to the apple store you can get this spray that you can spray on the any where on the Macbook and it wont get dameged. Plus there are these cover that protect the keys and the coloers are black and White.

Hey Lucas the best computer engineer and the future Bill Gates. Its not suprising that you fixed another computer! No offence to any Mac lovers but I don't really like Mac. Like Vhibu I think Windows is the best! Well good luck in middle school! I bet there are many more computers needing a tune up in your school! GOOD LUCK!

Uhhhh. Hi and uhhh hi. This is Dhruv. I think. Yeah I'm also a sixth grader but I'm as smart as Lucas is with computers. My dad works for Apple and uhhh I have seen the inside. The weird part is we have no EMacs or anythig but we do have two apple laptops. Yeah I worried on the first day of middle school because the 8th graders looked scary. Once you get to know them they're really nice. Yes we do have a PE uniform and yes we have to change in a locker room.
