So you are a person that likes to play sports but you also like to play video games. You want to do both but there isn’t enough time. Then Nintendo Wii is the suitable system for you. Wii is a video game council but you don’t just use old buttons this time. Your remote has a sensor and the sensor bar equipped with the Wii will sense it and your character will mimic you. You should probably stand in front of the sensor bar so it can pick up the movement faster. Since you’re moving, isn’t that sort of exercising? If that isn’t sporty enough, the Wii comes with a game called Wii Sports. You would probably know what you’re about to do once you hear the title. So yourplaying Wii Sports but you want to play boxing. You have to
use the Nunchuk and connect it with you Wii remote at the
bottom and then start boxing. If you like the classic remote
that is just buttons, you can buy that but it’s sold separately.
Games is not all the Wii can do you know? You can create
Mii’s (characters in Wii) and use them to play Wii Sports.
Internet is also available on the Wii but I rather you use the
computer for that. Here are some additionals for Wii sports
like a plastic tennis racket, baseball bat, and a golf stick. It
looks better but it doesn’t really do anything. There is new
game on the Wii that was just released on March 9, 2008, and
it’s name is called Super Smash Bros. Brawl. You can purchase
your Wii at Target, Toys “R” Us, etc. I’m sure you can get from
a lot more stores but these are the only one I know. Right now,
the price for a Wii is probably one hundred dollars but I’m not sure.
You can probably only get one Wii since it’s not very fair but rules might have changed. A normal Wii is white, but there are plastic covers that can cover it and soon it would be the color you want. Same thing with the Wii remote and Nunchuk. Say that today you’re going to your friend’s house and you bring your Wii Remotes along and you have four people playing. You have to Sync with your friends Wii machine since they are like strangers. Once you get back home you sync with your own Wii so you can use your remote on your Wii. Times ticking, better get those Wii before they run out! What are you waiting for?! Hurry up and good luck!

I have been waiting for many things but one for about five to six years. That thing I have been waiting for probably won't ever come. It is one of those American Girl Dresses you can get to match your doll. We ordered it and I don't think the people ever got my order. Another thing I have been waiting for is my birthday. I can't wait until it arrives. The only bad thing is is that it is at the beginning of the school year. When I was in 2 and 3 grade I was in Mr. Hodges class. When it's your birthday they make you stand up in front of the whole class. The worst part is that you have to stand up in front of people you don't even know.
I think the Wii is also very cool because of it's functions. Like for example it's like playing those games like real you don't notice that you're playing a video game. I think people should have this game also because it's actually a good very good exercise. After hearing all about the Wii I think I'm going to buy it.f
That's a cool post Kevin! I already have a Wii so I know all about it. I have more than a couple games like Guitar Hero, Cooking Mama, Carnival, Big Brain Academy and more.
Guitar Hero, like many of you know is a game where you have a guitar and press notes according to the order and speed they come on the screen. You can play different songs like "Rock you like a hurricane", "School's out" (my favorite, no offense Mrs. McPheeters) and many more.
Another game is Cooking Mama. You can learn a lot of recipies, how to do stuff in the kitchen (cracking eggs and chopping vegetables)and getting familiar about where everything is. I would definetly reccommend this to girls because as you can see I'm more than a few steps to making dinner!
Carnival is also a great game because it has fun things you can watch and do at a Carnival like popping balloons,and much, much more.I particularly like this one because it is so realistic (not that the other ones aren't).
One more good game is Big Brain Academy and it is right when it says "big brain"! This game improves your hand-eye coordination a lot! It starts with simple games like see a clip and put it in the right order but it is not as easy as it seems!
These are only a few of the number of games my family plays on the Wii. I would definetly agree with Kevin that the Wii has been a great tool for sports and video games put together. Great post Kevin (but where's the question?)!
Kevin I like your post.I do have a Wii.I didn't know about the knew game that is out in stores.The price for a Wii is around $249.99 + tax ,atleast that was how much when I bought it. The Wii [only sometimes] comes with the game and nunchuck.Also really famous game is Gutair Heros 3.Mrs. Mcpheteers Gutair Hero 3.Kevin do you have a Wii?
I have also been wanting one of those American girl doll dresses. My mom says they cost ALOT. Another thing I wanted was a D.S. I am not even close to getting it because usually the older ones get it first.I have a Wii, and sometimes I play on it for a LOOOONG time and my arm hurts for like three days. I think the Wii is cool because you can create your own carachter(a mii) Well, that's all I want.
I got what I was waiting for during the February break, it was a Pink Nintendo Ds! I was waiting for months and months for a pink Nintendo DS.
The pink DS is very rare but now almost every shop has it. Can you believe there is a Gold Nintendo DS! The first four colors were Red(only on the top), Crimson Black, Coral Pink, and Polar White. The two new colors are Gold and Blue.
I think that the Wii is pretty cool but it is also kind of bad because sometimes it is really hard to get the hands(you know the ones you click with) up on the screen. I really want a basketball hoop because I love playing basketball. I also want sports cable so I can watch my favorite team the Los Angeles Lakers play games. My sister really wants the Wii. I made a Mii and I made it have wrinkles, eye shadow, blush, a beauty dot, and many other weird and girly things(ha ha!)
I don't really think the Wii is that good for you. Yes, you are exercising but if you want your actions to be quicker, then you'll have to move to the TV screen more and that can hurt your eyes. In addition to that, the longer you play, your eyes get more sore. Yet the Wii is fun to play with.
I like the wii as much as you Kevin!!I can tell by your "report" that you like the wii. In the westgate mall , I saw that the functions of the wii are more cool than any of the game consols.
I love the Wii. You know that you can play nintendo gmaecube games on it? I have quite a few because of my previous game system, a nintendo gamecube. On the Wii, my favorite game that I have is called Super Mario Galaxy. In that game, many planet form on your mission to find Peach. When the light festival was arriving, Princcess Peach was taken away by Bowser, and Mario is trying to save her. When you get to the end of the mission, a new mission apears, and maybe even a new planet! When this game came out, my brothers coudn't wait to get it! I didn't pay much attention to is because I didn't like it. When my brothers started to play it, I couldn't stop watching! So one day I just had to try it. I loved it! I wonder if there's going to be a Super Mario galaxy 2!
