New Year's
By: Aayush
New years must have been fun with your family and friends. you might have been in the state or not. You could have been in a different city, but you were able to experience new years of 2012. What I did in New years was watch the ball drop with my family and later go to sleep. You all may have done something different. Oh yes and talking about New years its time to get those New years resolutions or as I would call them goals for the year. You may want goals like doing your homework on time or studying some more, but in the end you just want to reach your goal. Also a new year means new things like new technology or more new science has been discovered. Soon even the way we live might change! In all the year of 2012 might change or stay the same and we may get to experience even more. So what did you do on New Year's Eve and was it fun?

Hey Aayush,
Tis New Years I attended a party with two other families that we are close with. We went into the house and socialized for a while until... yea, we found the video game room. I am younger than all of the teenagers that are my brother's friends. As a result to that, I sometimes was the third wheel. It seems that everybody had a good time at the house because my mom and dad were letting my brother, sister and I play on our computers. We stayed up for a long time and soon had to go to bed because it was about 4 in the morning. And as a routine, we all had to brush out teeth, floss, then hit the sack.
That is how my New Years went.
Nice Post! During New Year I did not do any party but we still called our relatives and friends wishing them a Happy New Year! We also celebrated my Dad's birthday. It is already 2012!
On December 31, 2011 11:59:59 PM(also known as the last second of 2011) I was in one of my parents' friend's houses. We were watching the Big Apple thing on TV. Earlier that day, my parents' friends' kids were making a music video thing with the other kids over there. Unfortunately, they kicked me and my brother out. I ended up doing pranks on them with my brother like erasing their mini-whiteboard drawings and locking them in with a fort of stuffed animals. I guess it was fun, except for the part where we got in trouble for picking the lock on their door.
Great post!
I went to San Fransisco and watched the fireworks with my friends. The fireworks were the best I have ever seen in my life! We walked on the Pier. Then I ice-skated and learned new tricks from an insructor. I went bungee jumping and did a bunch of back-flips. It was amazing! I had a fun New Year!

I was still at Florida when it was New Years Eve. We didn't do much, but we ceased the last day of 2011.
At new year, we did the countdown with fireworks at home. We had a one switch which would open electricity to the whole house and we prepared so everything was on. 3 plugs to 9 plugs, 9 plugs to 27 plugs. 3, 2, 1,
POW everything lighted up. What a happy New Year we had!!!
Hi Aayush,
What is did is I celebrated with my family and watched the ball drop. Also we had a New Years Day all-day Party. I had a good time. We ate a lot of food, we played ping-pong and hung out with our friends.
Nice blog.
Nice post Aayush! My This New Years I Stayed up and watched the ball in New York drop on my HD T.V. in my room. After it dropped, I went downstairs to get water. I figured I was the only one awake in my house! I went back upstairs and played my Xbox360 games such as such as Halo 3 ODST, Halo 3, Forza 4 Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, and Plants vs Zombies. I also played on my IPad. I played games such as Asphalt Anderline 6, Contract Killer, etc. That went on for three hours, then I went to sleep and woke up at 10:30am. That was my New Year. Over all, nice post!
This New Year's Eve, my family went to visit my dad's best friend from college. We brought our Raclette machine, which you use to mix cheese, potatoes, and ham together and cook it. On the top it has a little grill, which we used for vegetables, shrimp, and steak. After that, my sister and I played with the other kids. Finally we watched the ball drop and drank apple cider. We also went outside and blew loud horns. We spent the night at their house and drove back on New Years Day.
This New Year, I stayed up until 12:00 playing video games and drinking water(my parents wanted to toast with wine, but we couldn't drink) and eating chips.
Nice post Aayush! I didn't really do anything on New Years, but I did some things on New Year Eve. We went to a friend's house where the adults chatted and the kids got to play video games and watch movies. Unfortunately, I didn't watch the ball drop because my sister turned it to the wrong TV channel and when we found out it was the wrong channel, the ball had already dropped. New years was very fun!
Hi Aayush,
Great post. This New Years I attended a party with three families at my mom and dad's friend's house. we stayed up until 2 o' clock in the morning. At the New Years party our family brought our indoor basketball hoop so we could play there. There were also many games set up like pin the tail on the donkey and musical chairs. I always had to get out because it was mainly a game for little kids like my 6 year old brother. He won pin the tail on the donkey and got a candy cane filled with Hershey Kisses. All in all, this year's New Years party was great.

And a happy New Year! We wish-yay! It's New Years! With a nice post to go along with it! Nice post, Aayush! I was only singing that song after New Years. Guess what? My plane back from Hawaii touched down at exactly midnight on New Years eve! Talk about coincidences. That was how I spent my New Year.
Nice post Aayush! I didn't plan on doing anything at New Year's Eve, so I guess you could say that it was kind of boring. The only interesting thing that happened is that I stayed up until after 11 pm. I forgot that it was New Year's Eve and I only stayed up because I couldn't sleep.
Dear Aayush,
On New Years Eve, I went to my friends house. My friends & I played Monopoly but got really bored and "somebody" spilled the whole game over. Then, I began telling the story of books I had just read until the only boy there got really mad 'cause he wasn't intrested & threw a pillow at us, one of my friends threw a blanket in his face & we raced down the stair. Next, we all agreed on taking turns playing on the ipad. Finally, everybody started to dance & then of course there was the countdown & the horns! By the time New Years was over everybody was ready to hit the sack. All in all, this was the most exciting new years, yet.
Spectacular blog post, Aayush.
Well, during the New Year's weekend, I went to a community center. After wishing for a good year, my family and I volunteered at the food section. We stayed there for three or four hours. When I went to my house, we had a quick change of clothes and then, we immediately jumped back into the car and headed for my cousin's house. After two hours there, we went home. On January 2nd, My family and I went to our friend's house. This wasn't any old friend. This friend was a friend we haven't seen in two whole years. When we went to their house, we noticed that their child had changed so much. Their house also changed so much. We went home later. My mom called all of our friends on a phone and wished them a Happy New Year. I also chatted with a friend of mine in a computer to iPad chat. Many things will happen and change this year like the Olympics and the Presidential Election. I can't wait.
I guess this year is off to a great start, even though the Mayan Calendar ends this year. (Possibly the world will end this year, too.) Again, great post Aayush!
I just stayed home and watched the countdown on the news that happened in San Francisco. And of course,I said Happy New Year to my family.I didn't really do anything, but I was still happy.
I went to a party with relatives to celebrate New Year's Eve. We played Video Games, ate, and playing Mahjong. It is a chinese game that is played with tiles chinese words and symbols. To win you have to have one pair. The rest is either a pair of three, or consecutive numbers. If someone throws the one you want, you win and they have to pay you. Sometimes they pay a lot, sometimes little. They score it in many ways. Also when you draw the tile you need. You also win, but everyone has to pay. People also pay depending on things. The dealer has to pay one more and by how many times they have won. If they won once they have to pay two extra. In english transalation it is add one pull one, I think, and so on, so with two wins in a row, you would have to pay four extra

Hey Aayush, great post! On new years eve I went on a cruise around Mexico. At midnight they dropped a hundred balloons! It was very fun I hope next year something better will happen on new years eve.
I went skiing at lake tahoe and had fun at las vegas. It was my second time going on crystal express and it was a painful run.
This New Years some close families came over. Someone brought a dog, and I walked it and picked up my first poo. It was not very pleasant. We played games and ate lots of food. Well, I guess that's it. Nice post!
