Zoe's Post

Christmas
By: Zoe
Christmas is coming, and each day I count the number of days until the break. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays, even though I don’t put up decorations of any sort. I sing Christmas carols, look at lights, and do other things to celebrate the holidays. Every year, I receive many presents, not from Santa. I do not believe in Santa, because I think there are no such things called elves or flying reindeer. Also, my parents sometimes write From: Santa on the presents in their handwriting. I have not yet planned to do anything over the winter break. I usually go skiing with some friends, or have dinner with my relatives. Even if I don’t go anywhere, I am positive that I will have a good time over the break. Happy holidays everyone! Do you celebrate Christmas? Do you decorate your house for Christmas? What are your plans for the break?

Nice post Zoe! I do celebrate Christmas and decorate our house. We put put up some colorful dangling lights. This winter break I'm going to Hawaii! Big Island to be exact. We are going to look at the volcanoes. We are also going on a submarine and going hiking. Over all nice post!

Nice post Zoe! I like Christmas as well. I decorate my house with a Christmas tree too. Over the break, I'm going to go to tons of my friends birthday parties. Also, my uncles are going to celebrate Christmas with my family. Overall, I think I'm going to have a fabulous break.

Great post Zoe! Yes, I celebrate Christmas and I am a christian. I have a Christmas tree and have ornaments on it, but I don't decorate my house. It takes too long to decorate a two-story house like mine. I don't have much plans for the winter break except to stay home, read, and sleep.

Great post Zoe! I do celebrate Christmas. Over the break, my friends from New Jersey are coming to California for Christmas. We will be going to Six Flags and many other fun places. Our family has kept some Christmas decorations like a snowflake and icicle lights. The cool thing about our lights are that they turn on automatically at six o' clock. All in all, my vacation will be very fun.

I celebrate Christmas and we decorate our house a little bit almost every year. We also set up the Christmas tree. My plan is to go eat dinner with my relatives on Christmas and go look at some Christmas sales.

Hi Zoe,
Great post! I celebrate Christmas and it is my favorite holiday too! This year, my family put up a real Christmas tree. We put lights outside our house every Christmas. I think that the neighborhoods look beautiful with the lights. This year's Christmas will be amazing!

Wow, Zoe! Great post. Yes, I celebrate Christmas. We decorated our house with a reindeer that moves its head, candy canes, light-up Christmas trees, and more. Over the break, I am going to Hawaii. Did you that even in winter, the ocean water can be 80 degrees warm? My Grandparents and cousins are coming too.

Dear Zoe,
Nice blog post! Yes, I do celebrate Christmas. I simply love getting new books and games every year! No, I don't decorate my house for Christmas. My mom says it is a waste of electricity and adds to the electricity bill. What a bad display of Christmas spirit! Oh well. Over the break, I am going to go celebrate with my cousins, though I'm not positive. My grandmother just came, and I'll definitely be celebrating with her. It will also be her birthday on the 20th, and my sister, Anika, on the 18th. My aunt's birthday will be on the 23rd. On December 31st, we will be staying up until midnight and watching the ball drop in New York. All in all, my Christmas break is going to rock!

Sounds like you always have fun with your Christmases! What I do for Christmas is a little bit different. I don’t go skiing with my friends or relatives. I have a dinner up in Oakland with my relatives. It is fun because my grandma has a big house and all of my cousins are always there to play with. But before that, my family and I always go to bed early so the time passes by and we have enough energy for waking up early and opening our presents. My dad never bakes food, but on this special occasion, he bakes pankaces in the morning for my whole family. All in all, my Christmas will hopefuly be fun this year. (I want to get good presents.) I hope you have fun too!

I celebrate Christmas. We didn't put on our lights though, since my dad is at work most of the time. But I think this Thursday my dad has a break. This break my parents and I are going to Universal Studios!!!!!! I know. You might think: " But Julie, shouldn't you have gone already, like a long time ago?" Well, I did go when I was very little. This time I will really be able to enjoy the trip! Nice post Zoe!
