This week in P.E., we, Rockhopper students, have a jump rope project. Everyone has to create a jump rope routine with a group of two to five people. Each team has to do two individual moves and four group moves. My group of two people, Kelly and I, have both been working everyday to perfect our routine. Of course, it has been very tiring but fun. This project also is fun because you get to exercise, in a fun way. We’ve both work hard and think we are ready. Do you and your group also think you are ready? How was your experience doing this project?

Hey Jamie!
I bet your dance group is going to be wonderful. I don't think me and Sana are ready. No matter how many times we practice we keep on messing up. Plus how can we practice when it's scorching hot and, I'm unable to practice because I walk to my backpack to get a drink of water and that takes 5 minutes. But hey I'll try my best!
I think my group and I are ready to perform our routine. We have been practicing very hard at recess and lunch and have definitely improved! I think the jump rope project is really fun. The project has also been very tiring, especially on the last few days when it has been hot.
No, I don't think my group is ready because we keep on making mistakes. We are practicing though, and I hope we can make it through perfectly. I liked doing this project because we get to spend more time together and it is really fun to challenge yourself.
In my group of two, I think we are pretty good, but we still need to work a bit more.I think if we work a little bit harder we are going to be perfect. That is what I think we can do if we work together.
I think our group was ready. I feel so sad that they did not make everyone do it. It was really fun practicing the jump rope routine.
Hi Jamie! We just performed our jumprope routine so there's no need to worry. But we did a few mistakes in the show. By the way, great post!
I don't think much of jump roping. I also don't really look forward to it, but at one point, it might be cool.
I am really nervous to perform. I always mess up and my group does it with me. We are still working hard on it though. We're trying to perfect it. My group is Jasmin, Karisa, and I. We're trying to make it better. We're improving, but it's slow. I'm so happy that my group does'nt have to do it on Monday. Now we have more time to work on it. I think the other groups did a really good job. I hope I do as well as them!
Jamie,
By the sound of it your dance should be awesome! Manali and I get mixed up and get tangled in the rope. It's so frustrating! It's always super hot and we keep on having to visit our backpacks to get some water. Basically our dance group is not ready! Good luck on your performance !
Nice post! I can relate that. I hope I did well on Project Jump rope. I really got better at doing my jump rope. Again, great post Jamie.
Dear Jamie,
Your dance sounds awesome! I think I am almost ready to perform. But, even if I do mess up, I do learn from my mistakes. You're right about being tired sometimes I am so tired my leg hurts in the middle of the night. Once again great post I hope your rouutine goes well.
I think that my group and me are not ready yet because we struggle a lot when we practice. I think that we will get ready soon! The people in my group are Rohan in room 24,Tanisha,and Yvonne. We are all not too good at jump roping.
I hope the project goes well:}.But I'm not sure our group is doing that well. We only coame up with three individual and ZERO partner moves.
I think it was two to six people in a group.
Hi Jamie!
I have a lot of experience with jump ropes. I have been jump roping since I was in Preschool. My group has already preformed. It was awesome! But sadly all of my group members wish to have done it to music. Nice post!
Very nice post, Jamie! Your jump rope show/presentation was awesome, too! I messed up a lot in mine. I'm not much of a jumper. But I think You and Kelly's performance was flawless! I'm not sure I'll ever be that good. Brilliant post!
I bet my group is gonna be a fail because we got Vivek in our team and he has never jumproped before. Great post Jamie
I think my group wasn't really ready, because they didn't want to raise their hands and go up. Today, our group did pretty well even though we were all nervous. The pressure doing the project is only one minute, which is nothing, so once you perform, the pressure is over.
Great post Jamie! I think that our routine was well choreographed, well rehearsed, and well executed. I also agree with your statement about how much fun it was- both preforming and practicing. I think the experience taught us all teamwork and compromise, and at the same time, we got a pretty decent amount of exercise. I hope that Mr. Vasquez assigns us more group activities like this one so that we can practice cooperating and collaborating with our team.
