My favorite part of the visit was the hands on class. We used play dough to make the shapes of the planets. I learned that Earth is that small compared to the Sun, and Jupiter. After that we tested how big the crater was with speed, material, and height. The last thing we did was when our table group got a box with a crater in it and we tested how deep the crater was with a stick. Then, we had to build it with colored lego. I also have another favorite which was the planetarium. We saw a short movie about what telescopes saw, and how they were invented. I also enjoyed the telescopes. Those were HUGE! I once borrowed a small telescope about four feet from my friend. We saw the moon, Jupiter and it's four famous moons: Ganymede, Europa, Callisto, and Io. I really enjoy Chabot. I wish I can go to Chabot again this October break.
