Sutters Fort

Here at Sutters Fort, we observed what it was like back in the pioneer days. We churned butter, lassoed a bull, weaved a rope, and baked fresh bread. Boy have things changed. Students agreed that 2009 is a LOT easier! They have worked up a hearty appetite today so we're off to dinner!

We saw many things at Sutter's Fort. My favorite part was the butter churning. I wish I got a free sample.
