PLAY BALL!
By: Sarah 5th
Hi! My favorite sports is skill. In skill, two players play. Your goal is to make your opponent make a mistake and get out. Then you become the server. You need to hit the ball on your side and hit it in a way so that the ball bounces to the other side. You are out if you hit the ball and it bounces on your square twice or if you don’t hit the ball in your square. What is your favorite sport/sports? Why do you like it?

Pets
By: Carolyn

Do any of you out there have pets? What pets are they? What can your dream pets or actual pets do? If you don't have a pet than what pet would you like to have?
I have a hamster and two cats. My cats can't do much but sit in the sun and sleep. My hamster is a different story. He can do so many tricks that I can't keep track. Tell me what your pets can do?

What If You Had A Million Dollars?
By: Jeffrey
What would you do with a million dollars just like Bill Gates? You can do anything with it like keep it or use it up to buy technology or just go and use your money for fashion clothes because some people just like shopping for fun. What I would do is to give some money to the poor because they don’t have anything to eat which are their basic needs for life. I would also want to do is that I would buy the useful things I need everyday such as a laptop computer for browsing internet, and a mountain bike for exercise, the last but not least, a grand piano. You can do what ever you want with it. Give me at least two ideas of what you would do and why you would do it and give me lots of details.

Extinction
By: Anshul

Sadly, many great ancestors of us pass away but the human population is still high. Can you imagine how sad it would be for other animals if they are extinct or endangered? For example, many animals of the Panther have become endangered. A few marsupials that are extinct are the Red- bellied Gracile opposum, or the Broad- faced Potoroo. Another common carnivore that is endangered is the Komodo Dragon. One of the reasons why these animals become extinct is because hunters destroy most animal species homes. It is said to be that every 20 minutes, an animal, plant or, microorganism becomes extinct.

Do you think the extinction of animals is a good or a bad thing? What would or could you do to help out?

Have You Ever Thought About What You Want To Be?
By: Sarah 4

Have you ever thought of what you want to be, like a dream? I’m sure that presidents and other famous people did have a dream. Like Barack Obama, when he was little he had to learn how to guide people to help guide the country. I want to be a doctor because doctors can earn a lot of money, but they can also help a lot of people that are sick. They can give cures to people with cancer too.

What do you imagine yourself becoming and why?

Middle School
By: Jasmine

We all have to go to middle school sometime, but when you think about going, how does it make you feel? When I think of middle school, I get nervous. When you go there, it might not be so bad. I think it will be fun because I already have in mind what electives I want. I have a sister who is in middle school, and she tells me a lot about it. I think middle school will be fun.

When you think about going to middle school, how does it make you feel?

ERAGON
By: Shoumil

Hi Room 19, I just finished the book Eragon! I had a lot of fun reading this book. The book is by Christopher Paolini. He wrote this book in high school. He was inspired by his love of fantasy and science fiction. This book is about a boy who lives with his uncle and finds a dragon egg on a dangerous mountain range called the Spine. As he gets the egg to hatch, Eragon learns a way to communicate with the dragon. He learns that he is a 'dragon rider' and gets lessons from Brom, who is a storyteller and secretly a 'dragon rider'. If you want to learn what a dragon rider is and more, get the book and read it now. I got to rush to read this book again, see you soon. By the way, if you finish this book, read the other two books in the series, Eldest and Brisinger.

Out of these three books which one would look interesting to you and why?

Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradox
By: Neeraj

Have you guys heard of the book Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradox? Well I have. I think that everyone should have a blast reading this adventures book. This book takes place in many places and even in the past!!!

This book is about an adventures boy who has always been very smart. He has fairy friends and this humongous butler who knows Marshall Arts. The boy is Artemis Fowl. In this book his mother is sick and there is only one thing that can heal her, a lemur’s brain fluid. You see, long time ago Artemis traded a lemur for a lot of money. Now Artemis needs it back and Artemis has to ask his demon friend to let Artemis go back in time to reclaim the animal. He has to outsmart himself, though he doesn’t know that his younger self could be his most challenging enemy.

I had a blast reading this book. I won’t tell you the ending but I’ll tell why I liked it so much. Artemis is always looking for good deals and this time he needs to gain back an animal. This book is so interesting because you get to see two master geniuses, who are actually the same person, fight each other. It was like watching a spy movie. This is not the only book; this book is the 6th in a series. Try reading the first five so you’ll understand more of what happens.

What is your favorite book and why?
