Global Warming
By: Jamie

While people enjoy the luxury of food and shelter, global warming is effecting the world and the environment around us. Some lazy people don't care and might say it doesn't matter. But ice is warming and melting even more than usual.
More and more Polar Bears can't reach land and drown. That is because the ice is melting and there is the pollution that we cause from fuels we use need to drive cars to the trash we litter. Also people are cutting down the rain forests where a lot of antidotes and remedies can be made from. By cutting down the rain forests, we are destroying some species that lives there, and when we do that, we are also upsetting the balance of nature.
Doing this also will destroy us in the end. First we pollute the air and water, which causes birds and fishes die or get sick. Then we eat the sick fish and we don't feel well. A lot of other animals eat fish and birds and will feel bad. Many things will eventually be eaten by us. Then they might all die of sickness or us eating them.
Now we have new electric cars. When we grow up, the roads will probably be filled with them.

When you are an adult will you drive an electric car and try to save nature? What are some ways to stop global warming or at least slow it down? Why do you think it will work?

Nice post Jamie! When I am an adult I will do anything I can to save the environment, so I will definitely drive an electric car. I will get electricity from windmills and solar panels, and make sure to do important everyday things like turn off the lights and close the refrigerator. These things will save energy and won't pollute the Earth.

Some ways to stop Global Warming are to stop buying things you don't need. When people buy thing a lot, they start building more of that thing in factories and in other ways that hurt the environment. If you don't buy those little things the factories willstop building them and they will stop emitting greenhouse gases. Also, when you ship things in trucks it releases greenhouse gases. You can also bike to close distanses instead of a car that runs on gas. As you mentioned you can also use a electric car. When I am an adultI will ride an electric car and by that time they will probably invent a new type of car.

Hi Jamie,

My mom always make me have to ride a car to school in the morning. I hate it when she say we need to ride on a car. When I ask her why, she always say cause we live to far from portal. When I tell her the effects of global warming, she says I don't care. I hate it when she says that.=( It drives me crazy when she says that.
If I ask her if you were a polar bear, how would you feel if your environment were getting destroyed by global warming? Then she answered,"I don't care because I'm not a polar bear and I don't live in the Artic."

I will drive an a electric car when I grow older because it is better for the environment. You can stop Global Warming by walking to short places or biking to school. Also try not to use your cars a lot, it pollutes our environment

You can stop global warming from continuing by not cutting down many trees. When people cut down trees, ruining the environment. You could also put solar panels on your roof. When I am an adult I will ride electric cars.

The first thing I would do first is make sure I am not polluting anything in to the air because that is the main problem. As you remember when we burn fossil fuels is makes the greenhouse gases escape in to the atmosphere and melts the ice in the tundra biome and also effects other biomes too. Then I would try to use less paper as I can and help my family to the same. That way the trees will keep growing and the animals that live in the trees would not lose their habitat or their hunting grounds. Then I would help the biomes by planting trees and not using any chemicals to change anything and to stop them from growing. Also, we always have to do the the three R's. Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. This is how I would help to stop Global Warming

I think I will drive an electric car when I grow up because they are more energy-effiecient (they turn 75% of the energy into movement while gasoline powered cars only use 20%) and are more silent. They also be charged at home, so you don't need to drive all the way to the gas station. They also have a higher reliability than gasoline cars because they don't need chemicals like oil, transmission fluid, and anti-freeze, so they're less likely to leak. A lazy person would love one.
