Wow, did anyone see the 4th of July Macy's fireworks show on tv? It was amazing!! It was almost better than the ones I saw at Great America. Cody does NOT like fireworks at all! He has been hiding under the table all night while the neighbors have been lighting fireworks in the street. Poor doggy. Happy 4th of July to you all! Have fun and be safe!!

I did not see the fireworks at Macy's on TV. In fact, I did not see any fireworks yesterday. I was really tired after we went to Half Moon Bay. So, when I got home I slept. However, I wasn't able to get a good rest because of all the noise of the fireworks. They were having fireworks at the Safeway place. Happy late July 4th to you all!

Summer time!!!!! WOOOO!!!! I miss school so much. I just went to New York, Boston, and others in the east coast. It was fun and boring. Fun because I saw the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State building was only a five minute walk from our hotel! It was weird that something so famous was across the street of a pizza store! Boring because we mostly just looked at colleges for my older sister. But I managed to entertain myself. My summer so far was great. I can't wait for school to start (in Portal) so I have an excuse to visit. ;p

To bad I had to go to an academic writing camp this week. Things immediately got better when I arrived at the camp since I found out that Harsh and his friend were there too! I guess the writing camp wasn't too bad since I had friends along with me. :) I am really worried about going to a boy scout summer camp in the High Sierra.

Hi guys, I am having a blast this summer. A few days after summer vacation started I flew to Miami to go on a cruise. Our flight to Miami was delayed by four hours dew to miscommunication with the airport and the pilot. While we were waiting at the airport we started watching a cricket match. When we got on to the ship it was like a huge house with tons of rooms hosting a party. During the cruise we made two stops at Key West and Cozumel, Mexico. In both places they had the weirdest temperature . It was raining while it was hot. In Key west we went para-sailing and in Cozumel we went swimming with the dolphins. I was lucky enough to have a basketball court on the ship. the food was also great and the waiters were very nice. After the four day cruise was over, we went to Miami beach and played there. I also saw the Miami Heat stadium. My family and I took pictures near the stadium. We went inside the “main office,” at least that’s what I would call it. We asked the person there for some souvenirs because we were huge Heat fans from CA. After we persuaded him into giving us some posters or free, we drove to Orlando to go to Disney World. After we finished two parks in Disney World we flew to New Jersey to see some cousins. We are staying in one of my cousins house fore eight days just to spent time with them. We are also going on a dinner cruise to see the Statue of Liberty. I do not want to go home because I will be getting braces!

P.S. Still playing basketball!
P.S.S. I watched Kung Fu Panda 2 too.

Wow, it sounds like you guys are having a BLAST! Rohan I., your cruise adventure sounds incredible. You also got to see where the Heat play and I bet that was your favorite part! Angeline, those are some fun cities you've visited! It is surreal sometimes to finally see some of these famous landmarks in person. Glad you are having fun! Andy and Harsh, how was the writing camp? I'm sure you created some pretty vivid and entertaining stories knowing the both of you. You should share them on Google Docs. I'm sure we'd all love some new summer reading! ;0) Julie, have a blast in Taiwan. What a fun adventure! And Niraj, I'm glad to hear you are out and about having fun too! I'm not nearly having as much fun as all of you. I'm just doing many day trips around town riding my bike, hiking, and running. The rest of the time I'm stuck inside planning for that big thing that is going to happen in September. You know, that "thing" where my name changes. :0) It is fun though, just a LOT of work! I miss you guys- keep enjoying the summer and keep us posted on what you've been up to.

I spent most of my time going to summer camp/school (advanced debate). We also went to see Sutter's Gold Mine, went panning for gold, and went to Black Chasm Cavern. I got my braces (no color-just silver) and I've had them for about four weeks. I'm almost completely used to them. I watched Cars 2 for my birthday. We spent about three days in Grand Teton National Park and we're now in Yellowstone (both had tons of mosquitoes). It’s all sort of Wild Western around here with not much tech, but for the first time I’m kind of okay with that.

Hi guys I explored the wonders of the............................................. pythagorean theorum. It is A leg + B leg = ???. Find the square root of that and you get C hypotenuse ( ??? = the answer you get. ) It is kind of fun. I learnt this on my fourth week. On my first and second week I played in a fun summer camp. My third week was all studying math and language arts.

P.S. Don’t forget to read Escape of the Rabbit 6.

You know whats so weird, when you got to summer you really want it but when there is really nothing to do you wish you had school. I went to Texas for a week for my national competition. Sadly, I did not get anything,:( , but my brother did. Hope You'll had a good summer! :)

Yeah! Mrs. McPheeters it was one fabulous parade. I especially liked that country music singer. Didn't Beyonce sing in it. My family was really looking forward to it.
