A Bad Experience
By: Sammy
When I was seven years old, a car crashed through my garage. When we looked inside the garage, there was smoke everywhere! My family called 911 and the firefighters to come over. Then a nice woman said that me and my sister could come into her house and stay there for a little while because there was still smoke in the house. When we went inside the house, the woman let us watch TV. Then we met her kids, and it was time to go home. I felt bad when the car crashed because we had to stand outside at 9:00, but felt better when the woman let us inside. If you ever had a bad experience in your life, what happened to make you a little better? If nothing happened to make you feel better, what do you think could make someone feel better who was going through a difficult time?

My bad experience was when I got hit by a cricket bat. It happened when my friend swung the bat when I was right next to him. He made me feel better by getting a ice pack for me. He also helped me do some of my homework!

When I was seven years old we went to a beach called Moray Bay. In the beach there were cars that were allowed to drive in it. Once our car started to slip and my dad accidently reversed too much then the car started to sink in the water. There was a guy that helped the car get out of the car and everyone was just laughing. When everything was over and the car got out of the water I was very greatful that the guy pulled the car out of the sand. When we came home and we have it to the cleaners, the found a sand crab!
An accident that happened to me at an age of four, was when my brother broke my arm. He did it it on accident. All I was doing was playing a game of bingo with myself and then a huge boom boom clamp came out of nowhere and landed on my arm. The hospital was about 30 minutes away but I was so freaked out I hardly cried. It was very scary. A lesson I learned from this accident was not to put arms under chairs. And not to be far away from a hospital. In conclusion, my left arm is fine and braking my arm is a scary thing for me.
Wow, that was terrible! When I was having a dificult time, well I would say it didn't go so well. But what made me feel better was my mom's suport.
Around 3 years back there was a earthquake in our area. When we realized that it was a earthquake we rushed out of our home.Outside we met many families and friends, and shared our experience with them. After sometime we returned to our home with our family friend. Then we felt much better.
Last year, while I was having a party at my house, a tree caught on fire! It was right across my house and it was HUGE! It was my dad who first saw it. It just so happens that the ash with a bit of fire was blowing towards my house. While my parents used the hose to "blast" the ashes, I stayed at my neighbors house. It was scary then, but now that I think about it, Its kind of cool!
My bad experience is when we had an earthquake in this area. I was around six years old when this happended. First, I heard a rattling noise. I first thought it was just my dad walking in the kitchen. Then, the whole house shook. The point where I got really scared is when my mom freaked out and yelled "EARTHQUAKE" I (stupidly) went and hid under the wobbly old table in front of the TV just as I was taught by teachers all along. My dad told me to come out and I decided to just follow his orders.
We walked..... excuse me... ran out of the house onto the street. We barely were out of the house when the shaking stopped. I thought
it was a waste of time to escape, because the shaking stopped right then. I wish we didn't get out of the house because I saw something outside that really freaked me out. The sidewalk was tilted and cracked, the road was dusty gray, and the place between the sidewalk and the road was pushed up like boulders. Luckily no one was hurt. My dad carresed me and let me watch TV after the earthquake. It wasn't a big earthquake, thank God, so no house got damaged. Unless you live in a straw house!
