Welcome to the Blog!

Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging with Ms. McPheeters' classroom. Here, students will be able to share ideas and opinions in a safe and respectful way. Your blog post can be about you, something you have accomplished, or my personal favorite...current events! Make your blog even more interesting and exciting by doing a little research and including a picture. You want to make sure that you know what you are talking about. Have fun commenting on each other's blogs and I can't wait to find out what we'll be talking about this year!
Please leave a comment below to practice. Tell us something about yourself, what you did over the summer, and what you are looking forward to in Rockhopper Village. Be sure to only use your first name and last initial in the Name box.

In the summer I went to a few summer camps such as Camp Unique where I played sports, and did science activities. I also went to L.A. where I visited the Griffith Observatory. From the top of the hill I could see the HOLLYWOOD sign. After coming back from L.A. I went to a few play dates.

I am looking forward to have a good school year!

In the summer of 2010, I went to three places, my grandpa's house, a rented house in Tahoe Donner, and Davis.
The first place I want to talk about is my grandpa's house. We had a lot of fun in Portola, one hour north of Truckee. My grandpa had a badminton set for us to play and he took us on a hike and we saw six lakes on this hike. We swam in Round Lake which is at the very top of the hike. The water was almost freezing.
We also went for rides in my grandpa's new jeep and we had the top off and turned the music up and it was fun.
Secondly, we went to Tahoe Donner with some friends of ours. We had a lot of fun, especially at Donner Lake and Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe. My mom and I went in a kayak and kayaked all around Donner Lake. Sand Harbor was easy for catching crawdads which are little mini lobsters which when they pinch you doesn't hurt that much.
Davis was so fun; I took a tennis class with my mom's best High school friend who was the leader of the camp. We stayed at my Nana's best friend's house. They were so generous and kind, they sent us home with some bread and cookies that they baked from their bakery business, The Upper Crust Baking Company. In Davis, we went swimming a lot at different friends' houses.
I tried to go outside more but I got too caught up with video games...
In conclusion, summer of 2010 was the best and hope that I have a great school year!!!!

Over the summer I went to three places back East... First I went flew to Salt Lakes City to make a stop from plane. I was so tired when we were waiting for the next plane which went too..... New Jersey! Wow it was long 5 whole hours! At New Jersey I went to a place called "Party Time You Know!" it is a amusement park! After that we DROVE a very long drive to Pennsylvania! Was visited Family. Then we DROVE to New York!
That makes me want to say that song about it! I was so crazy fun!
We got to stay up! But it was 142 degrees! We were sweating at subways because there is no air conditioning so we were SWEATING!
So that was my awesome vacation back east. Something about me is that I will do ANYTHING for a dog!
