Holiday Time
By: Kimberly
Christmas is almost here! I can't wait to get my presents, but it's important to give other people presents too. I love to sew so I'm making bags for some of my family. I'm not very good at sewing, but it doesn't matter. Just try your best. I'm making a glasses bag that says Boston on it, a little baggy for anything for my sister, and a bookmark for my mom. Everything is handmade. Sometimes that's okay, the best present is something make by yourself. I said I can't wait to get my present too, right? That's okay too. I want anything. I'm happy with whatever someone gives me. Besides, they are nice enough to even give you something. You should be happy that someone cares enough. What do you want, what are you giving, would a handmade present be good enough for you?

What I want is a fun game on my PS2(playstation 2). I also want a fun board game so I can play it with my family. What I am giving is a bouncy ball that I colored myself. I also am putting it in a box that I made myself. These are the things that I am going to give my family.
A handmade present would be okay for me. It just means to me that someone takes the effort to make a present. Though if I had to choose my favorite present, I would want a bike.
I don't need anything this year, and as long as it contains love and happiness from someone, I like it. I can't decide what I'm going to give everyone because my family doesn't celebrate it with presents and a Christmas tree, but I'm probably going to give Christmas cards to some people. We usually just have parties and go to church. In my opinion, handmade presents are better than presents that are bought because they contain more feeling and are more creative.
For Christmas there's not one main thing I want but, I'll tell you one. My parents won't buy it for me but, my teacher can! I don't want homework. It's evil. I'm giving a lot of things but, I'm still not done. For my aunt I got dog toys and I hope the right "earthling" plays with them (not my aunt). For my sister a Lego ® kit. For all the kids (including me) I got a thing thats hard to describe. I still have a lot of shopping to do. A homemade present would be great for me. I love presents that come from the heart. After years past I look at the present and think of that Christmas. I like store presents but, some make me wish the were never invented. Last Christmas I got........... underwear. That was one Christmas I'll never forget.
I don't really know what I want. I will give a christmas card to my friends and family. Yes, a handmade present would be good enough for me. For my friends birthday or a holiday I usually give them a card that is made by me.
I am making a goody bag for my piano teacher. She gave me a goody bag. I agree with Kimberly. I'm fine with just a little present. I am good at craft, so I am going to make hand-made craft prodject for my parents. I might even buy something for Ms.McPeeters!! (I will try to buy coffie beans)I will make a present for my family back at Taiwan too!!
I don't really know what I want except for on thing my parents won't get me. They say my teacher can give it to me. I want no homework. That is really all I want.
I'm giving dog toys, race cars, Lego sets, a weird thing, and a lot of homemade paper things. I still have more shopping to do.
I would love to get a homemade gift because they come from the heart. I like to reflect back to that moment years later.
I want to either get a book or a DS game. I might even get both. The book I want is "The Dolls Escape" I already have the other two books so "the Dolls Escape" is my missing piece. The DS game I want is Club Penguin, which is also a computer game. My friend has it and it looks really fun, but we can't connect. I am giving my mom a glasses holder, so when she isn't gonna use them, she can put it in them and not lose them. I am giving my dad a paper tie that has pictures of my dad's favorite things. That is only things I made, I might buy somthings for them. I would definently accept a handmade gifts. To me, handmade gifts are better than bought gifts because then it shows that the person took effort to make the handmade gift. especialy for you. I mean, ANYONE can go shopping and buy a gift, but not everyone can make someone a handmade, special gift that actually came from their heart. Bought gifts, to me, are okay. They took their time to buy me somthing. Handmade actually means somthing tho me. It is special.
I'm actually buying my presents for people. I don't really have enough time to make and complete a good present for them. I also want a book. Books are educational and they stretch your imagination.
The only thing I want is two books, but both of those books did not come out yet. The books I want are "Lord Sunday" and "Charlie Bone and the Red Knight." I haven't decided what I am going to give my sister. I did not decide this yet because she wants an expensive pen from me. I am most likely that I am going to give my parents handmade presents because I do not have enough money to buy anything they want. I would except a handmade present because I knew that they had put plenty of time into making it. If you don't except, it then that would be like puting someone down and they probably won't ever give you something.
It is nice to get presents that someone made for you,to show how much they care about you.I don't celebrate Christmas but I really want to.I wish all my friends a HAPPY HOLIDAY!!!!! I hope you get all the presents you want because Santa can't carry 100,000,000 pounds into every ones chimney, only a select few special gifts.
A handmade present would be good enough for me because then I know that the person cares enough for me to give me a present. Though if I got to choose my present, I would choose a gear bike. I would not make a present that is handmade, though I do not mind receiving handmade presents.
This year I'm wishing for some additional Lego pieces for my Mindstorms robot and some good books.I think I'm going to buy things for other people instead of making something for them. I might draw something for my parents or make a card. A handmade present is good enough for me. I would be happy somebody spent the time to make the present for me.
I'm actually thinking a bit about what I should give, so I'm in a middle of a little list of what I should give to other people. I think I'm going to make most of my gifts. Of course, on all of the cards I'll make them though. I don't know what I want this year though pretty much everything is good.
I really don't know what I want for Christmas, though I gave a star planetarium, some books, and a board game(Yatzee). I like homemade presents because they take a lot of work and effort to make.
I am making gifts for my family. I want to make a gift because it's the only way to give a gift for me because my parents ask me to buy my own stuff but then when I try to buy something they say no. I also want to make a gift because you can just buy something for someone and just all it a gift but that didn't take you time and effort. If you make a gift you put your time and effort in it. I would accept a handmade gift because it shows that they really like me.
Well, on my list, I have five items: 1.Lego Star Wars: Republic Attack Gunship 2. Oxgel Mechanical Pencil 3.Sorry Spongebob
4. An Apple MacBook laptop
5. A Razor Scooter. These are mostly for my birthday because we don't celebrate Christmas. Well I do like handmade gifts, because it shows that the person took the time to make the present.
I buy presents mostly but I make the cards and stuff like that. I pick the presents I want. I even got a present for every teacher I learn from. I even gave Ms.McPheeters a Starbucks Coffee gift card!
Haha for christmas, I want...clothes! You might think I'm sounding like a girl but yes...in middle school you need a lot of clothes...
