Veteran's Day
By: Ria

On November 11, Veteran's Day, my family and I went to Monterey Bay Aquarium. It was a really fun trip. My favorite part was when I go to touch some starfish. The water was really cold. Another part I enjoyed is watching the penguins getting fed. In one place, there was a big group of fish swimming in a circle in the same way. Only a few were swimming in the opposite direction. With a magnifying glass, I saw many jellyfish up close. They were really beautiful. Then we saw some people feeding the stingrays inside the tank. The stingrays would come up to the person and eat the food. One part that I really liked was that there was a piece of glass, on the outside, there was water coming from the top into a fish tank. If you stood in the inside it felt like the water was coming on you when it really wasn't. I really enjoyed Monterey Bay Aquarium. What did you do on Veteran's Day?

On Veteran's Day I went to my friend's house because both my parents were at work. We didn't do much except for design a garden out of foam and glue and other things. Then I watched Up (for the second time. The first time was in theaters. I had a pretty good Veteran'a Day.

On Veteran's Day I was at home.
What I did was play outside, go to classes and watch t.v. This is all I did during the break.

On Veteran's Day it was my mom's birthday. We went to Chevy's to eat. At Chevy's they sang to her and gave her a free ice cream and hat. And we went to see Michael Jackson's This is It movie. It was super good. I had just wished my dad good have been there with us because he did not have the day off . Over all I had a fun Veteran's Day.

On Veterans Day I did nothing. I just stayed home and relaxed. Though I did do some after school stuff, but the rest of my day was relaxing. I once went to the Monteray Bay Aquarium. I went there for a first grade field trip. It was a lot of fun. My dad chaperoned my group! My favorite part about the trip was seeing the jellyfish. Also part of our group we didn't know were they were. That part of the group included a girl and her mom. Finally we found them before lunch time.

On Veteran's Day I didn't really do much at all except eating out at Blue Mango. It's a really nice Thai restaurant with cool meals that no other place has, like blue mango.

Well all I really did on Veterns day was all at home. One thing I DID do is do any homework I did not finish and yes I did not do anything fun. I also played electronics and got some free time to just lay around. (I do not always just sit and do nothing.) Even though most of the time I did homework, I had fun because I did my wampum belt. It is always good to have a great day for people who fought on our country.

During Veteran's Day,I was just staying home and relaxing. I didn't feel like doing anything so I took a nap. I also took a nice little walk with my dog around the block and enjoyed the weather. It was a nice relaxing day for me on Veteran's Day.

Meh, I sat back, relaxed, watched T.V. ate candy, played on the computer, all that stuff! Although, I had TONS of homework! Yeah my homeowork load will so grow so dense its gonna rip a hole in my back pack. I've already had 2 binder explosions. On one, my binder literally EXPLODED! It was in first period and I dropped my binder and BOOM! My rings exploded open and EVERYTHING, literally, came flying out! (unlike elemantary school, you have 6 different classes in 6 different rooms with 6 different subjects which and these subjects are called "periods")

So yeah! That was Veteran's day!
