Family Fun Night
By:Angeline
Murdock-Portal Fall Family Fun Night was last Saturday and it was so exiting. There were so many games to play and so much food to enjoy.
The first game I chose to played was Biggest Number because my friend, Amy, and her dad volunteered for that. There was a slanted board with slots labeled with numbers 1, 2, and 3. I got three balls and tried to roll into a slot with the 3, the biggest number. I did not get the biggest number but I got an interesting one. I got the numbers 1, 2 , and 3!
Then I went to the Cake Walk. The game was so popular! There were so many people I almost didn't get spot! When I got in, Mr. Roels was playing too. When the music stopped, Mr. Roels was standing on the letter Q. He started chanting " Q Q Q Q." Then the game organizer pulled out the letter and it was Q!! I played 2 times but did not get anything! How lucky he was.
My sister, Emily, came to Family Fun Night too. She didn't come to play. She came because she volunteered. Emily is a freshman in high school and graduated from Portal. She was there to help her elementary school. Her game was Amaze-O. Lots of people came to play that my sister ran out of prizes!
While I was playing, I saw people getting plates of food. My mouth started watering and my tummy started growling. I went to the picnic area and saw many varieties of food. There were American, Chinese, Indian, and Japanese food. The choices of desserts were endless! Cakes, cookies, brownies, and cupcakes you name it!
Time passed so fast. Before I knew it, The event ended and I had to go home. I left with a full stomach, a head full of memories, and a smile on my face. I am looking forward to the next Family Fun Night. What did you do at Family Fun Night? If you didn't go, what are you looking forward to doing at the next Family Fun Night?

I did not go to family Fun Night. I still had lots of fun because I went to another birthday party, which was my little friend Patricia's 4th birthday. We played in her tent, and we played family, which was very boring, but at least I did not play dollhouse. The birthday party was okay. I look forward to the next Family Fun Night. If I ever go, I will like to play...... everything!
If I could go to family fun night, I would like to go in the jump house.I would also look forward to some really fun games.Maybe also some thinking games.(If there are any)Finally,I would like to try some food!!
Aww man, I was booked that day so I didn't go! =(
Good Post!
At Family Fun night I won twice in a row at the bake walk. My dad and I were expecting a whole cake. Instead we got two pieces of brownies. I was going to share one of my brownies with my sister, but instead I ate it all. Don't tell her I did that! I had lots of fun at Family Fun Night! I am the first person in the school who has won twice in a row at the bake walk! See if you can beat that next year? If you are lucky you just might.
I went to Family Fun night and I was a helper at the Snowcone machine with my mom. I also went to the jumphouse and bakewalk with my sister. At the bakewalk I won only once. Then, we went home.
I played many games and had a lot of fun. I played the cake walk and won many games I got lots of cookies. I loved family fun night and met a lot of my friends.
I did not go to family fun night and next year, in middle school, they will not not have family fun night. If I could have gone I would have wanted to go to the big slide. This is because a few times before I have gone to Family Fun Night. I went on the big slide and played many games. It was very fun. I hope that next year I can help out at one of the stands.
I did go to family fun night, but at the beginning is was selling tickets to people, so I didn't get the good prizes when I was playing games. With five dollars you could get 22 tickets, and with $10 you could get 44 tickets, or if there was two kids then they would get two 22's. It was fun, but I missed the good stuff. My dad helped out instead of my sister because my sister was too busy. Next year I do not know if I can make it to the next Family Fun Night, but I hope that I can win something in the bakewalk because I never won before.
I went to family fun night and it was awesome. At first I didn't know what to do but then I went to the jump house. It was a lot of fun.During the end I went on Penguin Island because my mom was on clean-up duty.
I helped out with the lolipop and bubbles stall at Murdock-Portal Fall FamilyFun Night. I also visited every stall and played a lot at the bounce house. I had dumpling, idili, eggrolls, and macoroni and cheese. My mom made mac and cheese, and she made jell-O. We got some stuff for the food drive, too.
I did not go to family fun night because I went camping. If I went, I would go to the jump house and the bake walk. The jump house is my favorite about family fun night! I wish I was there...
I didn't go to family fun night this year. I still did have lots of fun because I went to church. I had a lot of fun there. I played Ripstik and played computer. I also had a lot of fun at this program called AWANA at our church. Every saturday I would go to AWANA for two hours and then go to sleep. I like AWANA because you can earn shares(which is money that is not real)for the AWANA store. In the AWANA store there are a lot of things you can buy. Such as a science kit, mechanical pencils, Earesers, and lots of other stuff. I am looking forward to family fun night nezt year and i hope I go there!
I went to family fun night and it was really fun! I had brought two cans of food to donate. I first went to the jump house with one of my friends. After I went to go play some games. I won lots of lollipops and a few other prizes like an eraser and a page of stickers. Then I went in the bake walk, I didn't win anything. Then I did some other things and I finally got a snow cone and left.
