Global Warming
By: Shivani Singh

Global warming must not seem like a big deal to you when you are shivering on a cold winter, day but it is. When carbon dioxide and other gases are released when people burn fuel, drive cars, use factories, and burn down trees, over time, these gases can cause a green house effect. Greenhouse effect is when greenhouse gases (like water vapor, carbon dioxide, ozone and other gases) make the atmosphere thicker, so when the radiation is absorbed in Earth, the sunlight is trapped in Earth and cannot come out. Because of this heat, the Earth's climate is beginning to change drastically and is affecting the habitat of many animals. For example, polar bears are getting extinct because the ice will melt due to the heat.

Scientists predict that by the next century the global temperature can rise up to six degrees Fahrenheit! Scientists are very concerned about the global warming problem and try to get people to try and prevent it. Some ways I can prevent global warming is to walk most of the time instead of using the car for no reason (also get some fresh air.)
What are some ways you can prevent global warming? Please explain your opinion about global warming.

Bad Bottles?

Everyone wants to save the earth by re-using those re-usable bottles, but are they really that safe?! Research shows #3, 6, and 7 bottles are bad for the reproduction system! These bad bottles have a bad type of chemical called Biosphenol-A. This kind of chemical can be used in plastic containers and baby bottles! Many adults are worried about their young ones drinking out of unsafe bottles. This video reveals the answer.

Explain how you feel about this surprising topic. Should we go back to the disposable plastic bottles even though they are ruining our planet?
